here is a video I created in a course about video projectio mapping. My group and I (Sylvester hansen, Sidsel Sørensen and Daniel Grumer) created a joint animation and performance that tells the story of why the sun lives in the sky

this is another one of those pieces of quick work. It has dawned on me that I am not very good at being fast and creative at the same time. I either use hours on a very well thought out piece or spend no time at all doing figure drawing sketches. I have not really found the middle ground yet. this is what I am attempting to do now. I’m hoping that if I can be quick and creative at the same time, I might be able to market my skill somewhere.I guess we’ll see about that

here we have another screen shot from the upcoming game/animation. I hope you like it.
again it is really taking me allot of time to do these seemingly simple drawings, more time that I had expected. this means that I have had to push things back, important thing. But at the end of the day, that really doesn’t matter, because I will finish this project, come hell or high water.
I hope to have the finished animation/game up and running this sunday. I can’t make any promises, but that is my sincere hope. I will let you know what is up by then.

the electric car debuggle

Some while ago I promised all of you that I would upload the animation that I was making in Shanghai.

To be honest, I have been holding out on you, because I am not that proud of this one. but for you to understand my feelings, I have to explain the assignment:

In the assignment we were asked to create a service that would revolutionize the electric car. We were given free reigns to ply with all of the features of the interior of the car, we just had to have a working model, 3 posters and an explanatory animation ready by the day that I went home.

My group, through 3 weeks of grueling, painful discussion, decided to make the roof of the car into a window, that was also a touchscreen.

I am not proud of it, but by the final two weeks I kind of checked out. Not meaning that I half ass’ed the work, but meaning that I let other people make creative decisions for me, By this point I was so fucking tired of having to reach a unanimous decision with 8 people about every minute decision that I just decided become a work zombie and make no decisions of my own.

This animation is a product of that and therefore I am not particularly proud of it. I have however decided to let you all see it, so enjoy.
